Temp-to-Hire Staffing

Temp-to-hire staffing services blends the best of temporary
staffing and direct hire staffing. If you are unsure whether
your company will need someone long term, or if you simply
want to try out a new employee before making a commitment,
temp-to-hire staffing may be right for you.
You will work with a staffing specialist who will advertise
the position, screen resumes, interview, and screen
candidates. When qualified candidates are located, your
staffing specialist will forward you resumes for review. We
will then schedule interviews for you at your convenience.
This process is designed to save you time while still
leaving the ultimate decision up to you.

Agreement & Fees
|

Before the search process begins, you will consult with a
staffing specialist to evaluate your needs, develop a job
description, and determine the hourly rate necessary to
attract the best candidates.
After this initial consultation a temp-to-hire agreement
will be sent for your approval. The agreement outlines the
terms of the arrangement, including the hourly rate that
People Wise will bill you during the temporary period, as
well as the flat fee you will pay to place the candidate as
a regular employee of your company at the end of the trial
period. The flat fee is based on the candidate's first-year
salary, and may vary per candidate.
During the temporary period, People Wise bills you a
per-hour rate for the temporary employee. We take care of
processing the employee's timesheets and send you regular
invoices for the hours worked.
When you are ready to accept the employee as a direct hire
at your company, you will pay a flat fee to People Wise for
the placement. The flat fee, as well as the per-hour rate,
are agreed upon in advance and approved by you before you
make any hiring decisions.
After you have paid the placement fee, the candidate becomes
your employee and you are under no further obligation to
People Wise.

Save Time: People Wise temp-to-hire service narrows the
potential pool of applicants so you don't have to waste time
on undesirable candidates, skills testing, and paperwork and
gives you a trial period to evaluate each employee before
bringing them on your payroll.
Save Money: While your temp-to-hire employee is in their
trial period, you will pay one flat hourly fee. During this
time that employee works for our agency, meaning that we are
responsible for all payroll taxes, unemployment, FICA, and
benefits.
Trial Period: Making a bad
hiring decision costs time and money, can reduce overall
employee morale, and has the potential of resulting in an
unemployment or wrongful termination claim. With the
Temp-to-Hire program you are able to "try out" an employee
for 90 days with absolutely no risk.
No Obligation: When you use our
services, you are under a obligation to hire one of the
candidates we send to you. While we are confident that we
will be able to find a candidate to suit your needs, you are
not restricted from advertising the position elsewhere.
